Bob Book 2 (Story by Michie)

There once was a lonely traveller who didn't know what love was.

The traveller had never been taught/told what love was, but because he wanted to know what love was, he travelled around the world.

One day, the traveller came to an island in the southern part of the world, there he encountered an old, lonely lady. The old lady listened to the traveller's story. When he had finished his story, the old lady took out a pouch.

"In this pouch there is a seed of love. Plant it somewhere and when this seed sprouts, you will have learned what love is" the old lady said to the traveller.

The traveller accepted the pouch with the love seed from the old lady and thanked her. With the pouch in his hand, he decided to return home.

When the traveller came home with the love seed he got from the old lady, he decided to plant it in his garden. With all his strength, he started digging a hole he could put the seed in. Happily, he waited by the hole.

Finally, he would be able to learn what love was. It made him very happy.

However, not matter much time passed, the seed of love didn't sprout. Eventually, the traveller got impatient, he wanted to learn what love was immediately, but nothing happened.

The traveller couldn't wait anymore, so he decided to depart on a journey once again.

This time on his journey, the traveller met an old man.

"Old man, I'm on a journey to learn what love is, could you teach me, please?" the traveller asked the old man.

"I will teach you, however, my way of teaching is very strict! If my teachings aren't strict, you will never be able learn." the old man said to the traveller.

Having listened to what the old man had said, the traveller was disappointed.

Continuing his journey, the traveller encountered a young lady.

"Young lady, I'm on a journey to learn what love is, could you teach me, please?" the traveller asked the young lady.

"I will will teach you, however, my way of teaching costs money! If you give me money, I will teach you everything." the young lady said to the traveller.

The traveller was once again disappointed and walked away.

While walking, the traveller met a young girl.

"Young girl, I'm on a journey to learn what love is, could you teach me, please?" the traveller asked the young girl.

"I will teach you, mister traveller, however, my mother says love is useless." the young girl said to the traveller.

Once again, he was disappointed and walked away.

When the traveller came back to his house, he saw there was a lady outside the house.

"What are you doing here?" the traveller asked the lady.

"I am watering the beautiful flowers in this garden so they won't wither and die" the lady said to the traveller.

The beautiful lady was using a watering can to water the flowers.

While the traveller was disappointed, he told the beautiful lady his story.

"I have been on a journey to find love. Do you know where I can find it?" the traveller asked the beautiful lady.

"You will not find love here." the lady said to the traveller.

The traveller was very surprised by what he had just heard.

He hadn't noticed that the love seed in front of his feet was sprouting.

The love seed the traveller had gotten from the old lady, had now begun to bud.

Suddenly the travller realized: Since the beginning, love had always been there. He gave the beautiful lady his deepest thanks and together they had dinner.

Traveller had finally found out what love was, he no longer felt the need to go on new a journey. The travller who now understood love, asked the beautiful lady to marry him. Together they started a new family.

Love had always been there from the beginning.

Together the traveller and beautiful lady live happily ever after.
